I can't wait to see this in person

Hello Reader!

How is your week going? We are currently anchored in front of the town of Loreto in Baja, getting ready to provision, do laundry and pick up a family member at the airport for a one-week visit.

That being said, I am so excited to tell you about a new, Italian-made RV that's just as cute as can be.

Have you heard of the Wingamm yet?

Wingamm has been producing motorhomes in Italy for the past 45 years, and now an American company called W Motorhome Sales North America is working hard to get these adorable RVs to the States.

The Wingamm Oasi 540 is just a little over 17' long, and has an innovative drop-down bed that frees up room in the cabin during the day. I also like that it's made out of a Fiberglass monocoque bodyshell, which means it's lightweight, resistant to rust and corrosion, and leaks, too.

Plus, it's super easy to park and drive.

Are you liking what you see? Me too!!

I just wrote a post about the Wingamm Oasi 540, and you can read that here.

If off-roading wasn't so important to me, this little RV would have been on my short list. They are just too cute to pass up.

Do you want to be part of the effort to bring Wingamm RVs here?

Just this week, W Motorhome Sales North America, the exclusive North American distributor of Wingamm motorhomes, launched a crowdfunding campaign where you can take part in bringing these RVs to the US.

Crowdfunding basically means you invest in W Motorhome Sales, and in doing so, you own a small piece of the distribution company.

So far, W Motorhome Sales North America has received 200 orders for the Wingamm Oasi 540, and the first chassis' were just shipped to Italy to turn into RVs.

“Wingamm videos have millions upon millions of views and we’ve received over ten thousand phone calls and emails from those interested in Wingamm™ motorhomes. The fervor for Wingamm™ is palpable. It’s the joy of a lifetime to bring the enthusiasm of the Wingamm™ community together through crowdfunding,” said W Motorhome Sales North America's Tony Diamond.

Anyone who buys a Wingamm in the U.S. has to pay to import the vehicle back, though.

Anyway, if you hadn't heard of this RV yet, you might want to check it out. I've been watching videos and looking at pictures of its interior - luxury in a tiny package.

My dream is to go to Italy and do a campervan adventure in one of these.

Have you seen the Wingamm RVs yet? What do you think?

I hope you have a great week!

HeyReader, This might surprise you, but once again we are hauled out at Cabrales boatyard after just three weeks of cruising around the northern Sea of Cortez. Yes, our cruising season on the boat was SUPER SHORT this spring for a variety of reasons: The impending heat The fact that we just got new mountain bikes in the fall that we are very excited to go ride We have tons of family and friends to see The lack of exercise on a sailboat is hard -----PAID AD------- Ready to hit the open road...

HeyReader! Any moment now, we will push out from our marina here in Puerto Penasco, Mexico and head down to the Sea of Cortez for a couple months of cruising. I love this time on our sailboat, when we are exploring the islands off Baja. Someone once asked me: do sailboats boondock like vans and RVs? And the answer is yes, but in the sailboat world it's called gunkholing (referring to the anchor getting stuck in mud). Both have a similar vibe: away from hordes of people, absolute solitude,...

Hey Reader! After a much-needed weekend away from the boatyard, Tom and I made a big decision! We are tired of endless boat work, bouncing around in rough seas, barfing over the stern of the boat, and getting caught in ferocious blows. We are also exhausted by van life: digging holes, showering outside in the wind in sub-zero temperatures, swatting mosquitos, and generally living in the dirt. So we decided to sell both the sailboat and the van and upgrade our lives to..... A CAMPING AIRPLANE....
